The Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation recently had the privilege of donating a batch of our beloved Foundation pups to Safe Harbor, a Greenville-based organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse and their children throughout the Upstate of South Carolina.
Stacy Kuper, Vice Chair of the Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation, personally delivered the donation, joined by Julie Pringle, Safe Harbor’s Interim Executive Director, and Nancy Shepard, Director of Development and Communications, for the occasion.
Safe Harbor offers a continuum of services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children throughout Greenville, Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee counties, and moments of comfort matter for the children who come through their doors.
That’s where our Foundation pups come in. These plush companions are designed to offer comfort and a friendly face to children during difficult moments, and we’re glad to know they’ll now be part of Safe Harbor’s work with the families they serve.
We’re grateful to Stacy for representing the Foundation at this donation, and to Julie and Nancy for welcoming her and making the visit such a meaningful one. Moments like this are exactly why the Foundation does what it does — finding small, tangible ways to support the incredible organizations working across our community.
